Making Mirrors is the third studio album by Belgian-born Australian recording artist Gotye. The album was released on 19 August 2011. In December 2011 it was announced that Making Mirrors was voted Triple J listeners’ number-one album of 2011, making Gotye the first artist to win the Triple J album poll twice. It spawned the internationally critically acclaimed hit “Somebody That I Used To Know” which has impacted charts worldwide.

Rumer left school at 16 and drifted around England, attending Art College in Devon before joining a fledgling indie band, La Honda. Everything changed when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Rumer dealt with her pain by writing a series of intensely powerful songs, documenting her personal journey through grief. She returned to London upon her mother’s death in 2003, performing anywhere and everywhere she could, ultimately catching the attention of producer/composer Steve Brown. Together the two musicians began crafting what would become “Seasons Of My Soul.” In addition, Rumer also had a fateful encounter with one of her personal heroes, the legendary Burt Bacharach, who flew her to Los Angeles after hearing the album’s extraordinary first single, “Slow.” Earning the master’s approval was just the beginning of what’s proven to be a somewhat dizzying ride for Rumer.

John K. Samson has written four acclaimed albums with The Weakerthans. “Mr Mojo Risin’” is the story of the making of the Doors’ last album with Jim Morrison “L.A. Woman”. 2011 is the 40th anniversary both of the album’s release and of the death of Jim Morrison and this program goes into detail of how the album came about, its recording and what was happening to the band at the time. The story is told through new interviews with the three surviving Doors: Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger and John Densmore plus contributions from Jac Holzman, founder of their label Elektra Records, Bill Siddons, who was their manager, Bruce Botnick, engineer and co-producer of the album and others associated with the Doors at this time.
