Gym Class Heroes hugely anticipated new album, “The Papercut Chronicles II,” which includes the top 10 smash, “Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)” – arrives in stores and at all digital retailers today. “Stereo Hearts” is shaping up as another massive hit for the alternative hip-hop superstars. The platinum-certified track – produced by Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha) and Robopop –is a top 5 radio hit in Canada. “Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)” is also drawing extensive critical acclamation, with Entertainment Weekly praising its “languid, well-bronzed hook.” Billboard extolled frontman Travie McCoy’s “clever verses” and Levine’s “poignant hook,” going on to hail the “upbeat love song” as “something unique.” Rolling Stone applauded McCoy’s “skill at pop that floats between styles,” declaring “Stereo Hearts” to be “a little bit hip-hop, a little bit disco, a little bit dark-synched club music.”
LOS CAMPESINOS!
Hello Sadness
http://www.loscampesinos.com/
Dist: EMI Music Canada
Hello Sadness is the fourth record by Los Campesinos! Its 10 tracks cover what we are coming to recognize as core Los Campesinos! concerns – love, loss, heartbreak, football (always football). But this is a record that’s wiser and more focused than its predecessors, confident in its abilities and clear in its aims. Recorded earlier this year in Girona, Spain by producer John Goodmanson – responsible for the septet’s previous two albums, 2008’s We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed and 2010’s Romance is Boring – Hello Sadness is Los Campesinos! At their most melodic, direct and exhilarating.
KREESHA TURNER
Tropic Electric
www.kreeshaturner.com
Dist: EMI Music Canada
Between discovering her musical voice in Jamaica – and later being ‘discovered’ back in her Canadian home town: Edmonton, Alberta – Kreesha Turner has always been an artist rooted in two cultures, and Kreesha’s passion for bringing those influences, sounds and worlds together inspired her sophomore album ‘Tropic-Electric’. Kreesha’s new album ‘Tropic-Electric’ brings together the Tropic island vibes that inspired Kreesha to embrace music, and the Electric sounds of the clubs where Kreesha has had her greatest success.

OZZY OZBOURNE
God Bless Ozzy Osbourne
www.ozzy.com
Dist: Universal Music Canada
Ozzy Osbourne is one of the most iconic figures in rock and one of the founding fathers of heavy metal, however to many his “Madman” persona has overshadowed his considerable musical achievements. “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne” tells for the first time the story of his career from the founding of Black Sabbath through to solo stardom and his wider fame beyond. These were the wild days of his prodigious drug and alcohol intake, of biting the head from a dove at a record company meeting and biting into a bat on stage but also of the tragic death of Randy Rhoads and the reality TV show The Osbournes. The film follows Ozzy’s torturous and emotionally fraught journey from excess to sobriety, which Ozzy regards as his greatest accomplishment.
