Mick Jagger has teamed up with Eurythmics founder Dave Stewart, soul singer Joss Stone, Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack composer A.R. This diverse and eclectic line up who share eleven Grammy Awards between them, have been recording together in various studios around the world, with the majority of the tracks on the project laid down over three weeks in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Tori Amos’s debut on Deutsche Grammophon Night of Hunters is a 21st century song-cycle, inspired by classical music from the last 400 years. Following the idea of the classical song-cycle, Night of Hunters tells an ongoing contemporary story. Its central character is a woman ending a long relationship, allowing the listener to follow her on a journey over the course of one night to explore complex musical and emotional themes. For the first time in years Amos has placed the piano front and centre, adding an ensemble of strings and woodwinds.

As the only Canadian to with the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Matt has spent the last year building a huge fan base in Canada, selling out shows across the country. His last album, ‘Spirit of Christmas’, cracked the Top 50. Matt just finished a very successful run of shows with the Glastonbury Festival, the Ottawa Jazz festival (opening up for Bela Fleck to a standing ovation), the Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton folk fests and is set to embark upon a coast to Coast Canadian tour, ending the year with shows in Australia !
